Besides efficient and effective construction, we take additional actions to ensure minimum energy consumption and maximum ecology of our buildings, such as:

Location of Green Areas and House Orientation – during the architectural design we ensure that the Green Areas are located in the most effective location, so that residents of all our houses can benefit. Further, the orientation of the individual house is careful selected after considering environmental factors such as sun/shade and direction of wind, to ensure minimum energy consumption.

Green Electricity – We cooperate with a network of associates to ensure the latest technology is exploited for the generation of Green Electricity. Examples of such technologies are solar panels fitted over the roof, on windows and on the floor.

Electricity Monitoring – Installation of a real time monitoring system as far as energy is concerned has been proved through applied research by the Cyprus University of Technology to have a positive effect leading to optimum use of electrical energy. Studies have shown that the use of this smart meter can raise energy consciousness and result in energy savings of more than 25%.

Green Heating/Cooling – Besides the “conventional” heating/cooling systems (e.g underfloor heating system, solar panels, air-conditioners), other more advanced systems are used, such as Geothermal Heating/Cooling ( a system that brings a building in harmony with the earth beneath, taking advantage of subterranean temperatures to provide heating in the winter and cooling in the summer) and Energy Fireplaces (where the heating from the Fireplace is “fed” in the central heating system of the building).

Water Economy – Grey water and rain water harvesting from the slaps of the houses are cleaned by biological sand bed filter systems and fed to a service water cycle to be used for plant watering of the houses and the common park close to the houses.
